The smell is what woke him up. Up until that point, Chris was knocked out. Behind the mirror in the room stood Rococo peering over two of his guards' shoulders. In front of them laid a tabletop workstation full of buttons and switches and little lights and screens. Falling asleep was not easy. My whole family was either dead, or running away from those beasts Rococo created. At that time, I never understood why he wanted us. We had never seen him in our lives.
